Rust, cracks, staining... all potential signs of moisture intrusion and underlying substrate damages. When you, or your client is purchasing a stucco home, it is important to ensure the stucco has proper drainage. The photos attached show a stucco balcony overhang with no drainage, that was tested by us and showed hidden, underlying wood rot.

Stucco being a durable and attractive exterior finish, if properly maintained, can stand the test of time and be incredibly appealing.
