We have some great news! It looks like the TWiT party Friday night at BearWatch raised close to $4000 for our charities. Thanks to Allen and David from TWiT and all the volunteers for making this such a wonderful event.

Now that I have finally got some sleep I wanted to thank everyone for such a great Bearwatch 14. To all of my committee members, volunteers, Inn @ the Waterpark staff, and The Jungle Resturant I want say a big THANK YOU for making it a great run. Below are a couple messages I have received about BearWatch:
I came to the bearwatch beach event on Saturday and I just had to write and tell you what a great time I had and also say that I can see a HUGE difference in the bears now as a few years back - more professional and I respect that. I am thinking of re-joining soon.

I had the best weekend in years and this is the first time I attend an event like this before. I want to compliment the club for putting on such a great event and also compliment Marvin for making me feel so welcome when I registered Friday afternoon after a 4.5 hour drive to get there. I also want to compliment Victor who was a volunteer and I spent some time being feed some drinks Saturday night at the pool, he was excellent and I regret not trying to bring him back to Louisiana with me, lol. Honestly it was a great weekend for me I have never been in a crowd of gay men and seen such a nonjudgmental and accepting group with each other differences. I will attend next year. I thoroughly enjoyed the proposal of the two guys from Minnesota I wished that would have happened to me.
I will see you guys next year.
