Books Between Kids

To honor Dolly Parton's legacy, Jo’s Coffee is serving a specialty 9-5 latte and donating $1 of each 9-5 sold before September 5th to Books Between Kids! They are also a book donation drop-off location, so take some books by and try their 9-5 latte to support putting books into the hands of Houston kids. We can confirm that it's a delicious latte!

We are so saddened to hear the news about Dolly Parton's passing. Everyone knew Dolly as an extremely talented musician and actress. We loved that about her too, but we especially loved her passion for ensuring every child has access to books. Dolly cared deeply that kids around the world had reading opportunities before they reached kindergarten. We will continue to honor her legacy through our mission to expand book access for kids across Houston. Rest in peace, Dolly. 🦋

We are so thrilled to have distributed more than 270,000 books into the Houston community during our fiscal year! 69,710 kids in Houston had the opportunity to dive into reading adventures and practice their book-selection skills.
