Our brave little ADDIE is making wonderful progress! 🥰
This sweet, 10-pound girl was brought to the shelter after a suspected car accident. At the time, she was dragging her back legs and struggling to walk. We rescued her and took her immediately to the hospital for care.
X-rays showed no broken bones, leading the veterinary team to suspect neurological damage from the trauma. After two weeks of exercises and water therapy, Addie has improved significantly. She was doing well enough to be spayed yesterday. We expect her to be discharged this Friday, and she is in need of a foster home
Addie is approximately 3–5 years old and has a joyful personality, loving every human and dog she meets. She is walking better every day and requires no special medical care.
If you can open your heart and home to give Addie a temporary place to stay while she searches for her forever family, please email [email protected].❤

Happy 1 Year Adoptiversary to RCR Alum Dobby! 🥰
Dobby is a truly special boy. As a puppy, he survived the distemper virus, which left him with some neurological issues that affect his balance. While he may walk a little differently, it certainly doesn't slow him down or bother his wonderful family.
According to his mom: "We adopted this little bundle of joy exactly one year ago. Dobby Do is a hoot! He and Michael are a team, and Michael loves Dobby so much! It's been a fun year with Dobby, and I thank God we were chosen to give him a chance. He is exactly where he was meant to be!"
Dobby is so lucky to have such a loving and devoted family. Congratulations on one year together! ❤

Our sweet JOVIE is having a very big day! 🥰
Jovie flew with volunteers of SWATT Transport from Houston, TX, to Denver, CO, and then on to Bozeman, MT, where she finally met her new parents who were anxiously awaiting. There were lots of hugs and kisses, and they are now on a 4-hour car ride to her new home in Polson, MT.
We rescued Jovie from the shelter with a severely broken leg on December 31st. She almost didn't get the chance to see the New Year, but look at her now—fully recovered and ready for her new adventurous life! We couldn't be happier for her.
Thank you to SWATT Transport for making this trip possible and for being a part of Jovie’s "Happy Tail." We look forward to receiving updates from her new family soon! ❤

Beautiful ZOE is in need of a foster home or, ideally, a furever home. She is a 6-year-old Golden Retriever/Yellow Lab mix weighing 55 pounds, and she is just as sweet as she is pretty.
Zoe is well-behaved, house-trained, and crate-trained. She gets along well with other dogs, children, adults, and even cats, making her a great fit for either a busy environment or a low-key household. The only thing she dislikes is thunderstorms.
Special Zoe has Addison’s disease, a hormonal disorder that requires a monthly injection of Percorten-V and a daily low dose of prednisone. With this treatment, she will lead a full, normal life.
Sweet Zoe was abandoned once. She now deserves a loving home and will repay her new family with endless affection. If you would like to meet this precious lady, please email [email protected] for more information. ❤

SIDNEY is celebrating! She got her stitches out today and she healed beautifully!
Sidney recently underwent major surgery to remove her entire mammary chain due to numerous firm masses, and she also had a mass on her head removed. We are so thankful that all the biopsies came back non-cancerous!
Sidney is a friendly 2–3-year old girl who weighs 18 pounds and gets along great with people and other K9 kids. She is ready to move on to the next phase of her life! Looking for a new BFF! Email [email protected]. ❤

Meet the wonderful MR. MAGOO! This gentle 6-year-old, 10-pound sweetheart was recently surrendered to the shelter because his family could no longer care for him. He was overwhelmed by the noise and smells at the shelter and totally shut down. Then the staff let him hang out in their office for the day, and he truly started to open up.
Mr. Magoo is currently at our vet getting "the works" and is looking for a loving foster home where he can receive the patience and TLC he deserves.
If you are interested in fostering or adopting Mr. Magoo, please reach out to [email protected]. ❤
HAPPY FRIDAY! Now that Lola Lucci has recovered from her serious health scare, nothing is holding her back. Here she is showing off her soccer skills and enjoying being home for the weekend! 🥰
Meet ADDIE, our brave little fighter! 🐾 This sweet 10-lb little girl was brought to the shelter after possibly being hit by a car. Due to her injuries, she was scheduled to be euthanized.
We knew we had to give her a chance. Despite struggling to walk, she never stops trying. Addie is currently at the vet being assessed. X-rays did not indicate any broken bones; it appears her damage is neurological. Next step is wound treatment, physical therapy and possible CT scan.
Addie has the sweetest personality and loves everyone she meets. Prayers for a full recovery and support for her medical care are greatly appreciated. 🙏❤️
