The best referrals come from people who still feel connected to you.
Donât disappear after the first coffee date! Keep a system that allows you to track and keep up with the people you meet and have a synergy with.
When they feel seen and supported, theyâll reciprocate with referrals.

Going to events isnât enough: Relationships are built in the follow-up.
You donât build your referral web by collecting business cards.
You build it by nurturing actual relationships.
The biggest mistake I see?
People show up⌠but donât follow up.
They network⌠but never connect again.
They think visibility = conversion.
But what works? Checking in. Staying connected. Remembering the human! Start to look at your marketing strategy as a relationship builder (build your web!)
Follow-up builds your web even stronger - it gets people talking about you and referring you over and over again because you make them feel seen and supported. They trust you- so they'll tell more and more people about you and your business.
It's how I get 5-10 referrals almost every month into my business. If you're not seeing consistent referrals, it's time to start re-thinking how you network.

Referrals = borrowed trust. It shortens the sales process every single time.
If your sales calls feel like youâre trying to convince someone of your valueâŚ
Itâs probably because the lead came in cold. Warm referrals are different. Why?
They already believe in you because someone they trust believes in you.
Thatâs why my referral leads convert higher, faster, and with less friction â and yours can too.
When it comes to marketing, we all want more warm leads in our business.
Start by strengthening your âwebâ. Each rung in your web is a person youâve built and nurtured a relationship with.
More on that in the next post, stay tuned!
