It was such a fun time being on Season 2 of Mo as an extra!
Definitely wasn't expecting to find myself on a Netflix & A24 project last year, but it was a great opportunity to see a studio-level production unfold here in Houston. On top of that, I got to make some great friends along the way 😊
It warms my heart to see two fellow brothers from Alief creating opportunities here in the city. and , y'all have done well in carving out this space for yourselves and I look forward to seeing how you continue to create in these spaces. Hope to join in on the fun sometime as we continue representing the talent out of SWAT!
Some fun context for slides 13 & 14 - Drew up a schematic of the set to help the 2nd 2nd AD (Barrett Farmer) with placement of background extras. Barrett was already working too hard so thought I'd help out 🙌 Definitely an amazing dude doing a fantastic job.

I had an absolute blast directing the 2024 Black Friday ad for !
When I heard the concept was a 'heist', I already knew we had to bring it back to the parkour days.
Huge thanks to those at Studio 93 and Grounds for trusting in me to take the initial concept & run with it, to Heidi for always being down to explore & experiment together, to Habib for matching my craziness in ideas & energy, and to Eric for bringing your A game & absolutely sending it.

Post-production on KAI is officially a GO!
After a week-long battle with drive failures and working to rescue the project, we're now in the clear and back on track!
To celebrate, here's an official post for those who missed the initial sneak peek 🙌
I'll be working with some talented individuals over the next couple months to bring this concept trailer to life. So, more to come!

The light guided my eyes to this shot. It ended up meaning a lot more to me than I realized.
And encouraging reminder that at your lowest point, the only way to go is up.
Here's to all of us making that journey for ourselves.
