What a journey it’s been. 💛

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of serving FREE cotton candy and snow cones at a back-to-school event in one of the neighborhoods we serve. Sometimes it’s nice to take a break from the work and enjoy the fun moments with the kids.

And now… today is the FINAL Project Snack Pack of the summer! 🥹

What started as an idea turned into weeks of showing up, building relationships, and making memories. I couldn’t be more excited to finish this season strong.

💛 Eight weeks. 100 lunches each week. 800 lunches served.

When we started Project Snack Pack this summer, we had one goal: show up consistently for our community. Week after week, that’s exactly what we’ve done.

Because of your support, we’ve now served 800 lunches, and with only two distributions left, we’re on track to reach our goal of 1,000 lunches this summer! 🎉

To everyone who donated, volunteered, packed lunches, passed them out, shared a post, or even came just to support and cheer us on…THANK YOU! Every role mattered, and none of it went unnoticed.

This journey has reminded us that there’s still so much work to do, but real change happens one day, one neighborhood, and one lunch at a time.

We have two more opportunities to finish this summer strong:

This summer, every Wednesday, Kommunity Krew is committed to giving away 100 free lunches to children in communities.

We’re calling on community leaders, activists, organizations, businesses, and anyone with a heart to serve to join us. Whether you can donate, volunteer, sponsor lunches, or simply ride along and lend a helping hand, your support makes a real difference.
