Good question.

A lot of people think helping means spending money, but that’s not always the case. While donations are always appreciated, there are plenty of other ways to support Project Snack Pack.

You can volunteer your time, donate snack items, share our posts, or simply tell someone about what we’re doing. Sometimes the biggest impact comes from connecting us with people who are able to help.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be dropping our distribution dates and the neighborhoods we’ll be visiting. If you know families in those areas, spread the word and let them know we’re coming. Whether they need a little extra support, want to participate, or simply want a snack pack, we want them to know they’re welcome.

Project Snack Pack is about more than snacks. It’s about community, connection, and showing our children that they’re thought about even when school is out.

💛 Why do we need Project Snack Pack?

Because every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and included.

Summer break means school is out, but that doesn’t mean our children should feel forgotten. Project Snack Pack was created to help us stay connected with the communities we serve while providing children with snacks and nutritional options that can support their growth and overall well-being.

For us, it’s about more than what’s inside the bag. It’s about building relationships, creating positive experiences, and reminding children that their community is thinking about them…even when school is out.

What started as something we did whenever we could has grown into a mission to show up consistently, encourage healthy habits, and create moments that children can look forward to throughout the summer.

Just because it’s summer break doesn’t mean no one is thinking about you.

Believe it or not, this is our 3rd year doing Project Snack Pack!

What started as something we did whenever we could has grown into something we want to do consistently and on a larger scale. For the last few years, we’ve been showing up in our communities with snack packs for children during the summer months, and now we’re ready to take it to the next level.

Project Snack Pack is all about making sure kids have something to snack on when school is out and resources may be limited. It may seem small, but sometimes a snack, a smile, and knowing someone cares can make a big difference.

This year, we’re doing it bigger, better, and with a plan! And we need our community to help us grow!

We’ll be sharing more information, volunteer opportunities, donation needs, and distribution updates soon. Make sure you turn on your notifications so you don’t miss anything.

This is bigger than just an Easter Egg Hunt. Kommunity Krew shows up for our children and families all year long, and we can’t do it without the pillars of our community standing with us.

You don’t have to donate money to make an impact. If you have resources, services, time, connections, or products to give it all matters. Every contribution helps us create a safe, joyful, unforgettable experience for our kids.
