We loved speaking with Houston Chronicle journalist Ryan Nickerson about the City of Houston Civic Art Collection Map launch. This website was created as a way for the public to access information about the artwork and objects included in the City’s Civic Art collection that are in their communities and shared spaces all around the city.

As Grace Zuñiga, Houston Arts Alliance's Chief Programming Officer, shared during the interview: "It provides a really great way for the community to see the assets of the city and to see the objects that inherently belong to them as residents of the city of Houston."

2. Dermatophyllum secundiflorum (syn. Sophora secundiflora)

3. Prunus americana (American plum, wild plum, Marshall’s large yellow sweet plum)
