❤️🐾 MEET BIG BOY — A HEART OF GOLD LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME 🐾❤️

Big Boy is a gorgeous German Shepherd, estimated to be 12–18 months old, and he is truly something special. He is one of those dogs who immediately captures your heart. He is gentle, calm, sweet, loving, and absolutely beautiful.
Big Boy adores everyone! He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, people, and children.
He gets so excited when his foster comes to walk him and walks beautifully. Big Boy is also crate trained and enjoys lounging in his crate with the door open.
Like most dogs, this boy LOVES affection! ❤️ He is a total smoocher and will happily give you kisses. He loves butt scratches, ear scratches, cuddles, human touch, and simply being loved on. He has such a soft, loving spirit. His foster mom has nicknamed him Scrumptious!
Big Boy was let down by his previous owner and does have heartworms and parasites but will be treated after his neuter.
This loving boy truly deserves nothing less than a loving, peaceful, joyful home where he can live inside, be part of the family, and finally know how wonderful it feels to be truly home. 🏡❤️
Big Boy is a precious jewel—and whoever gets to call him theirs will be incredibly blessed. 🐾

We are so happy to announce that sweet little Doug is adopted! After a month in a trial home the couple said they knew he was their boy. They just kept repeating, he's so happy, he's such a happy boy. We knew that but also knew he would be happier with a family of his own. Now our work is done. Happy life sweet boy!

This sweet boy was found wandering around Barker Branch sbdvn for several days. A kind lady was feeding him but had to leave town for a few days and nobody would hold him. I am calling him Doug and this is what I know:

* is young with pretty pearly white teeth
* is an inside dog, reliably housebroken
* is kennel trained and well behaved
* is super smart, learning dog door in a day
* is happy to be around other dogs and does well, would probably do well with cats
* is a good eater, preferring his veggie meat medley over kibble
* is not a barker

- is not microchipped
- is not neutered
- is not claimed by an owner

I plan to wait a little longer for an owner to turn up, then vet him for adoption. Doug is with No One's Dog Rescue in Houston, Texas. If you have wanted to add a little sugar to your life please consider Doug. He is a treasure!

You can complete our adoption application if you are interested in meeting Doug.

Recently the rescue was asked to take back a dog that was adopted in 2020. The owners are getting divorced and he cannot go with either of them. Juno was born in the rescue in February of 2019. He will be 7 years old next month. He loves his mama, he loves all women. This would be his perfect home...a quiet life with a loving female owner. He is a quiet dog who loves his walks, swimming, eating and playing with another large balanced dog friend. Could this be you? For for more information see his Adoptapet link below.
Juno is located in Houston, Texas.

ADOPTION DAY! Our sweet Ruby got adopted today by a great young man. They will stay very active which will be perfect for Ruby. Leaving a dog behind after investing so much time, love and energy is very hard. This is a great family though, and that makes it worth it. Happy life sweet girl!

Do you have a husky or want a husky? This is what you should plan on doing when the weather permits. Ruby has escaped three times, the last through the window screen. This stopped after I aired up the tires on my bike and began running her every morning. Even though she has shepherd in her gene pool, the husky traits are strong. I explained this recently to a man who called about adopting her as a Christmas gift for his 17 year old son. 🤔 I hope I got through to him how much work a husky is. Ruby is a gem, a very special girl. But she needs/has to have exercise to be happy. Please don't get a husky unless you are dedicated to their needs.

Meet Ruby...a true gem! I cannot say enough great things about this girl.

1. she loves other dogs, even dogs that don't love her,
2. she is super affectionate but also likes her own space,
3. she is so smart, uses the dog door and reliably house trained,
4. she eats everything that I prepare even her vegetables, but does not chew up the house,
5. she is one of the happiest go lucky dogs I have met.

Ruby is located in Cypress, Texas and available for adoption. It would be great if you have a playful male dog to burn some energy as Ruby is fairly young and loves to play. See her full bio here https://www.petfinder.com/dog/ruby-77850613/tx/houston/no-ones-dog-rescue-tx2388/

Please request and complete an adoption application if you are interested in meeting Ruby.
