Manning School of Business, University of Massachusetts Lowell is holding a Ph.D. Open House and a Webinar

Are you interested in pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Management Science?



Located 30 miles northwest of beautiful city of Boston, UMass Lowell has over 18,000 students and is the second largest public university in Massachusetts. The Manning School has over 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students, is accredited by the AACSB-International and a nationally ranked research institution. We will be holding an open house on September 25 and a webinar on September 26 for potential candidates who will be considered for Fall 2019. This Ph.D. program accommodates full-time students (with graduate assistantship support) as well as part-time students who work full-time in industry.

HCA Healthcare is recruiting now for their Performance Improvement Engineering Internship Program (formerly Management Engineering Internship). This will be the sixth year of the program. They are asking that the students apply by November 4 (link below).

The program runs from Tuesday, May 30 to Friday, August 4 (10 weeks). Students will be responsible for identifying and financially supporting their own housing arrangements. The interns will be paid $15 an hour and be expected to work 40 hours a week.

Qualifications:

· Current Juniors enrolled in a bachelor degree program focused on Industrial, Computer or Biomedical Engineering

· Current Seniors graduating with a Bachelor Degree in Industrial, Computer or Biomedical Engineering with the plans to attend graduate school in the fall

· Current first year graduate students pursuing an MBA, MHA or MEM degrees who have completed a bachelor’s degree in Engineering

· Strong analytical skills

· Good “systems” thinker and organizational skills

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Strong computer skills (experience with Excel required)
