Key Responsibilities

Monitor schedule, costs, and operational readiness

Experience & Requirements
Proven experience managing Liquid Mud Plant (LMP) or drilling fluids projects
Strong oil & gas project management background
Experience working in Africa or remote locations preferred

The role focuses on optimizing drilling performance, reducing NPT, and enhancing ex*****on efficiency for extremely fast drilling operations (typically 5 day fast wells currently seeing NPT).

Responsibilities:
Lead drilling performance optimization initiatives across multiple well phases.
Identify root causes of NPT and suggest mitigation and improvement strategies.
Provide deep technical support in drilling fluids, drill bits, BHA design, and overall well engineering.
Support planning and operational ex*****on for hot, high temperature (HT) wells in Thailand.
Apply Landmark engineering tools (e.g., WellPlan, Compass, OpenWells) for modeling, analysis, and performance tracking.
Work collaboratively with customer and internal service line teams to drive consistent performance improvements.
Manage client interactions with professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
Required Qualifications:
Approximately 15 years of experience in drilling engineering, performance engineering, or well engineering.
Proven track record as a solid drilling performance engineer with demonstrable results in reducing NPT and improving operational efficiency.
Strong technical background in mud engineering, drilling systems, bit technology, and high-temperature well operations.
Hands on experience with HT wells in Thailand or similar geothermal/HPHT environments.
Proficiency in Landmark applications and other relevant engineering software.
Ability to fit well into Thai working culture: confident, respectful, humble, and collaborative.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence without arrogance or confrontation.
Preferred Attributes:
Previous experience working in Thailand or Southeast Asia.
Experience supporting multi PSL or integrated service contracts.
