😱unwanted stowaway in one of the coops, lifted overhead compartment and there it was all curled up and happy digesting a chicken egg- yes, I screamed-my poor girls I’m sure did not like their unwelcomed visitor! Two barn cats coming soon! Farm life at its best😜🐍🐓

Going to be a busy day! Making- pesto with both sweet basil and spicy basil, blanching squash and asparagus for freezing, beet and apple slaw, oregano infused oil tincture and lots of herb drying! Happy place🏡👩‍🌾

I have become a Forager😜 when on my morning walks I am always on the lookout for my favorite weeds (ie-dandelion) but love when I discover new. This year was the perfume Ball which smells amazing and it’s so cool how it grows. Starts out a a round flat circle, as it blooms it turns into a ball as you can see from the pic. Last year it was Goldenrod which I turned into a tincture and a salve. 🌱

My oldest GB Hudsyn was with me at HEB, as I passed this she says “that’s the biggest lunchable I’ve ever seen” 😂
