What happens in a preschooler’s brain when ambitious academics are taught in an immersion language?
Through developmentally appropriate immersion academics, a preschooler’s brain is doing more than learning academic content and a second language separately. It’s repeatedly coordinating simultaneous language, attention, memory, inhibition, conceptual understanding, and social interpretation.
