At the direction of Mayor John Whitmire, the City of Houston has activated several preparedness measures ahead of the potential for heavy rainfall and flash flooding across the region.

Upcoming Road Closure Alert: Westheimer Road between Interstate 610 and Wesleyan St./Willowick Rd. will be closed on Saturday, June 13th from 4 a.m. to 4 pm to accommodate emergency repairs to the Union Pacific Railroad tracks.
