HONORED! I’m flat out humbled. I learned from that being too quiet and humble can cost you. It’s has cost me more than dollars. I’ve quietly assisted many over my 30+ years in the entertainment biz and made many millionaires. and Record companies were better when I was there. I put Houston in the lights on a grand scale with the plaques to prove the WORK. When u make it look easy folks think THEY can do it t; NO YOU CAN’T. From money official, to Elektra Records to & many more. I was truly hated on for being me and being great BUT MY WORK speaks for itself & you can’t write me out if you tried and yall did. Psalm 9:9-10
The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.

LUMPKIN’S WORD STUDY

David declares that THE LORD is a secure height. That is security for those who are down trodden. Not LIKE or AS but pure PROTECTION. It’s HIS nature, it’s who God is. God has you in the very dire times you need and call on Him. He is TRUE & SURE. Those Believers who KNOW HIS NAME it means they realize and confess to the fact knowing and believing THIS, is the faith that saves. HAVE NOT FORSAKEN further explains the meaning of God’s name. God does not change. He can NOT abandon those to whom He is bound HIMSELF to. He is FAITHFUL & honors FAITHFULNESS. God never gives up on people.

Commentary:
Praise God that He hears us, and acts on our behalf! Today is a day about finding your voice to petition our loving, gracious heavenly Father and being in communion with Him. Waves of fear, doubt, damage, and pain; all break upon the rock that is our Lord. Trust in Him and become vulnerable to the one who is able to change your circumstances, or deliver to you the power to hope and love and live in your current circumstances. When trouble comes, our Lord hears our cries for help. When we celebrate with praise, He hears our new song of joy! God loves you, and wants to hear from you.
