Proclaiming Liberty to the Captives! Going even to the least of these!

06/21/2026

Happy Father’s Day!

Today we honor fathers everywhere—and we’re especially thankful for the fathers behind these prison walls who are seeking God, leading by example, and fighting to leave a legacy that reaches far beyond their current circumstances.

A prison sentence can separate a father from his family, but it cannot separate him from the love of God or the purpose God has for his life.

We’re believing for restoration, healing, and generations changed through the power of the Gospel.

To every father reading this: your story isn’t over. God is still writing it.

Save A Soul • Save A Family

We just saw 88 women get baptized INSIDE of prison this weekend!!! 🙌

What a powerful reminder that no wall, fence, or sentence can stop the love of God from reaching someone’s heart.

This weekend, we watched 88 women publicly declare that Jesus has changed their lives. Every baptism represents a story of redemption, a fresh start, and a life surrendered to Christ.

Revival isn’t confined to church buildings. It’s happening inside prison units across Texas as women encounter the hope, freedom, and forgiveness found only in Jesus.

The world may see inmates. We see daughters of God discovering their purpose and walking into a new life.

Revival looks like this. 🔥

Revival looks like this!🙌

This weekend we’re back inside the Marlin Unit, gathering with incredible women who are hungry for hope, freedom, and the presence of God.

Already we’ve seen lives being touched, hearts opening, and women responding to the love of Jesus. There is something powerful about watching God move behind prison walls and being reminded that no circumstance is beyond His reach.

As we continue through this weekend, we’re believing for salvations, restoration, healing, and life-changing encounters with Jesus.

Prison may be their current address, but it is not their identity.

Pray with us for every woman inside the Marlin Unit this weekend. God is moving.

Before he became the chaplain for the Houston Texans, Mikado Hinson had a story of God’s faithfulness that continues to impact lives today.

In this powerful message shared inside prison, Mikado opens up about his testimony, God’s grace, and the hope that can be found no matter your circumstances.

Whether you’re behind bars or battling something on the outside, this message is a reminder that God is still writing your story.

The most impactful mission trip you take this year might be inside a prison.

Join Mike Barber Ministries on July 11th as we head into the Coffield Unit for a powerful day of ministry behind prison walls.

You’ll have the opportunity to go cell-to-cell, sit face-to-face with men who are hungry for hope, pray with them, encourage them, and share the love of Jesus one-on-one. Then experience what few people ever get to witness—hundreds of inmates gathering together to worship God with everything they have.

Prison ministry isn’t just something you watch from a distance. It’s something you can be part of.

Lives are being changed. Families are being restored. Eternities are being impacted.

It’s always special when the worship team for one of our events is made up of inmates.

Prison may change someone’s address, but it doesn’t cancel the purpose God has placed on their life. The gifts, talents, and calling He gave them are still there.

Watching these men lead hundreds in worship with passion, excellence, and joy is a powerful reminder that God is still using people right where they are.

You may be in prison, but prison does not have to be in you. 🙌
