We wrapped up an incredible summer with an unforgettable rock concert from our School of Rock campers. Our young musicians found their beat, built their confidence, and had an amazing time performing for family.

The music doesn't have to stop! In addition to our unique and wonderful enrichment programs Yorkshire Academy has to offer during the school day, we also enrich students' lives after school. This fall, School of Rock will be coming back to teach a class after school, open to Kindergarten through Second Graders. Students will explore ear training, rhythm patterns, song structure and more -- all while having fun and building a love for music.

At Yorkshire Academy, we are proud to partner with the community to bring enriching experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child. We can't wait to rock with you this fall!

There's something extra special about seeing a former student walk back through our doors - not as a child, but as a leader.

This summer, we were thrilled to welcome Miss C back to Yorkshire Academy as a summer camp teacher. Miss C attended Yorkshire from Kindergarten through Fifth grade, is pursuing her elementary education degree at The University of Oklahoma, and we are so proud of her commitment to education. Watching our former students grow, chase their dreams, and return to invest in the next generation is one of the greatest rewards of what we do.

We've made so many wonderful memories together this summer- from laughing with friends and trying new things to getting a little messy and having a lot of fun along the way. It's been a joy watching our campers learn, grow, and make the most of every day.

As graduation speeches were shared in May, and memories reflected upon, one theme rose above the rest: a child's education is about so much more than academics.
