The Wall Crawlers are officially a sport club as of the Fall 2011 semester. This is the first rock climbing sport club at the University of Houston.

We hope everyone is doing okay after the hurricane. I'm sure at least a few of you guys are out volunteering already, but if you haven't gotten the chance and don't know where to start, check out this article from the Houston Chronicle!

The 2017 Cats Back was a success! we had 125 new people interested in our club!
Hey Wall Crawlers! Good news, our practices will be starting on Monday August 28th from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm, come ready to climb! Our schedule has shifted a little our practices are on Monday, Tuesday and Thrusday this year.
A few things before hand, please come by the wall before practice if you haven't already and get you paperwork for climbing in the rec completed. Also if you know how, come get re-certified for belaying! Lastly try to show up 30 minutes early and check out climbing gear if you need it.
We are very excited to see everyone coming back and everyone new to the club! See you guys next Monday!

Congratulation to everyone on the team who went and competed at Jacks on Belay this year at SFA!!!

What a fantastic showing for our first comp of the year, and a great start for those who have never competed before. We are going to have an awesome competition season in the spring!
