⭐️ The Election Deadline Problem:



- The court order requires the election to be completed by September 14th.

- The HOA’s schedule shows the election ending on September 24th.



Ten days late.



❌ Not “fashionably late.”

❌ Not “oops, we misread the calendar.”

✴️ Just… inexcusably late.



In HOA terms, it’s the bureaucratic equivalent of announcing: “We shall comply with the law at a time of our own choosing.”



Creative, yes.

Legal, no.



⭐️ The Missing Candidate Announcement:

Their own schedule says candidates were to be announced on July 27th.



Yesterday.



And yet — silence.

No email.

No posting.

No announcement.

Not even a carrier pigeon 🐦‍⬛.



One wonders how the Board plans to run a lawful election when they cannot even meet the deadlines they themselves wrote.



It’s like watching someone conduct a symphony without an orchestra: energetic leadership, poor audience reception.



⭐️ Why This Matters:

Elections require:

✅ deadlines,

✅ transparency,

✅ competence, and

✅ a basic respect for the rule of law.



Right now we have:



❌ missed deadlines,

❌ no candidate announcement,

🚨 a schedule that violates a court order, and

🤮 a Board President who appears to treat legal compliance as a distasteful side of lima beans he has no intention of eating.



Copper Lakes deserves better.

We call on Inframark and the Board — especially Jeff Hackworth — to:

✅ Correct the election schedule immediately to comply with the September 14th court deadline.



✅ Announce the candidates without further delay.

Neighbors –

The purpose of this communication is to endorse Bibbi Eilertsen and Jim Robertson as candidates in our upcoming HOA election, and to seek your support in electing them.

For years, this community has watched Jeff Hackworth and his two supporters (Steve Smalley and Michael McAnulty) abuse positions on the HOA board. We have seen them:

Illegally appoint allies to the board without elections
Terminate a board member who stood up to them (Bibbi)
Illegally deny homeowners access to community records
Illegally ignore a petition for a special meeting signed by more than 500 homeowners (>40% of the community)
Illegally delay and manipulate elections to remain in power

In response, the Copper Lakes community formed a Watchdog Group. A total of 165 members signed a petition supporting legal action, and 16 homeowners filed a lawsuit.

On July 8, 2026, Judge Bob Wolfe confirmed that the board had illegally delayed elections and unlawfully withheld records and therefore ordered the election now underway as well as the release of HOA records.



This election would not be happening without the steadfast commitment and integrity of Bibbi Eilertsen. She has shown a level‑headed, consistent dedication to proper governance and the law. She has worked tirelessly—at great personal sacrifice—and spent thousands of dollars of her own money to restore truth and fairness in our community. It is rare to encounter someone who gives so much and asks so little in return. For these reasons, the Watchdog Group wholeheartedly endorses Bibbi Eilertsen and asks for your support in electing her.



Throughout years of illegal and unethical behavior by the board, Jim Robertson has remained a consistent voice of opposition. His voting record clearly shows that he repeatedly stood against these actions, even at personal risk. Jeff Hackworth has threatened to remove Jim from the board if he communicates with homeowners, yet Jim continues to speak out and vote against misconduct. Jim’s strong moral compass and commitment to transparency will be essential in ensuring that the board releases all records it is legally required to provide. For these reasons, the Watchdog Group wholeheartedly endorses Jim Robertson and asks for your support in electing him.

Alley in Urban District- 15 mph
Highway Numbered by State Outside Urban District- 70 mph and 65 mph at night
Other Highway Outside Urban District- 60 mph and 55 mph at night.
