Wednesday Afternoon Devotion:
God's Limitless Bounty
[Elder Michael White]
Theme:
The Bounty of Immeasurable Love (The Cornerstone), focuses on the greatest gift of God's generosity: His radical, unearned love and forgiveness found in Christ.
Connecting Scripture
> Romans 5:8 (KJV): "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
> Ephesians 2:4-5 (KJV): "But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)"
> The Rhythm Of Spoken Word:
"The Price and the Gift"
> The Bounty I chase, I often mistake,
> for the harvest, the comfort, the blessing I take.
> But the genesis moment, the source of the flow,
> is the Cross where His limitless generosity shows.
> Not a trinket, not a title, not gold in the hand,
> but the price of redemption across every land.
> We were debtors, adrift, in a state of great lack,
> when the Lord of the heavens refused to turn back.
> He traded His glory for splinter and nail,
> He gave up His Spirit—an unbreaking veil.
> So today, let me pause from the worries and striving,
> and rest in the truth of what grace is reviving.
> The greatest of bounties? It's not what I earn,
> it's the love that forgives when I stumble and burn.
> The Immeasurable love, a gift freely passed,
> a foundation of grace that is built to forever last.
Wednesday Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we pause this afternoon to be awed by the sheer bounty of Your love. Your Word reminds us that while we were still failing, You gave everything.
Forgive us for the times we treat this gift as common or forget the immense price paid. Open our hearts to accept the lavish, non-contingent love poured out for us through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Amen.
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
—Psalm 34:8
Tuesday Morning Devotion: (delayed due to technical issues). Still good.

Anchored in the Storm
Reflection:
As the world trembles under the weight of conflict, uncertainty, and change, it can feel as though we are drifting in a storm without direction. Fear, division, and confusion whisper louder than truth. But for the believer, there is a deeper truth: we are not abandoned. The storm may rage, but we are anchored by a hope that does not fail.
When the disciples were caught in a storm on the sea, Jesus was in the boat. He was not panicked, but at peace. His presence didn’t prevent the storm—but it did bring peace through it. Likewise, in today’s world, Christ remains with us, whispering, “Peace, be still.”
Scripture:
“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.”
— Hebrews 6:19 (NIV)
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
When everything around me feels unstable and uncertain, I look to You—my constant, my anchor, my peace in the storm. Thank You that Your presence is not dependent on circumstances. You remain faithful when all else falters. When fear rises like crashing waves and the noise of the world tries to drown out Your voice, help me to cling to the hope You’ve planted deep within me.
Lord, center my heart on You. Strengthen my faith when doubt creeps in. Help me to stand—not in my own might, but in the truth of Your promises. Teach me to walk through storms with peace, knowing that You are not just beside me, but within me. May I be a reflection of Your calm to others, a steady hand and a soft voice that points back to You.
Let Your hope rise in me today—not just for my sake, but for those who are watching, waiting, and wondering if there’s still light in this world.
In Jesus’ powerful and unshakable name,
Amen.
