Idea for a comic book character. A 3 million year old early human ancestor who is the first witch on Earth. Lives in the Amazon with an uncontacted indigenous group that worships her. She can warp the reality of the jungle: flatten time, make it night for years, travel through shadows, and summon prehistoric creatures.

Technical notes-tried some initial photobash/hue variation for underpainting purposes and was very happy with how it turned out! Also tried playing around with more textural brushes

Had a lot of fun with this and pushing myself to be less precious about pristine rendering. Really interested in making my digital work for rough and layered.
