Christmas Eve, and our hearts are full. 🎄
Grateful for this Advent tradition that calls us to pause and remember, the story isn’t over! We await the return of our King. 👑 From the manger to the cross, and into perfect redemption for eternity.

Advent; such a special time, awaiting what’s to come, the birth of the king of kings, 👑 bringing us redemption and yet we still longingly await for what’s to come, on the other side of heaven! “the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay.”

GLORY. GOODNESS. GOSPEL. Love that when there are hard things we go through, and maybe we don’t have all the answers we can go to the three G’s!
✨God does all things for His glory, the season we are in is so purposeful.
✨ God is good. “Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!”
✨ Remember the Gospel: the birth, the resurrection and eternal life in Him.
I’m resting in these truths and I hope whatever you are walking through today, may this bring peace to you as it did for me!

Thinking about my parents mandarin tree. It died a few years ago after a freeze, but it was around for as long as I can remember. Every Christmas and new year we would make bags and give to friends. Yes, it’s sad it’s not around anymore, growing wild and free, offering shade on a hot day, but sometimes something special is around for a bit and we can appreciate the moments we had with it. Everything should be rooted in gratitude. And gratitude eventually brings joy. Gracias por las mandarinas arbolito de mi niñez.
