Happy Father’s Day to my dad who taught me how to be a dad. He worked super hard for our family growing up, sometimes late and weekends, but he always took time to throw a ball with me or teach me how to fix stuff and was always there to put me to bed at night and wake me up in the morning (even when I was a teenager). Now he’s loving being a grandfather. Love you Pops!

“Vacation” begins! Family vacation with three families and seven kids total. Not exactly relaxing but we’re here. Wish me luck!

Just replaced 19(!) dead pick ups in this 1981 suitcase Rhodes. Also swapped out the original preamp which was not working properly with a new Avion Studios retro flyer. After a bunch of adjustment of the tines and pick ups, this thing plays and sounds great.

Had a great first session with David Garza working on some demos for his producer clients. A man of many talents and full of kindness, can’t wait for hopefully many more sessions to come.

Although we have lots of plugins, nothing Is quite the same as plugging in! This beautiful Rhodes (and Sequential Circuits Synth) are waiting for your session!

You never know what will happen at the Big Top. Sat in with David Garza last night and this other guy joined us on stage. Thanks to both John C Reilly and David for a fantastic show!

Happy BIG 45 to my wife, love, and best friend Sarah. We were supposed to go to NYC for the weekend but the travel gods had other plans so we took an impromptu vacation to the best almost staycation location near Houston, Galveston! We had a great dinner at Gaido’s (the ultimate old school food jam of Galveston, still not owned by Tillman) and today just had a nice time going around town to the railroad museum, the naval museum, and hanging in one of the oldest cities in Texas. At this point, Sarah and I have been together on some level for more than half of our lives and I have zero regrets. Happy birthday Sarah! 😘
