We are excited to announce Dr. Shafi to our amazing team! Dr. Sarah Shafi is a residency-trained optometrist originally from South Florida. She attended the University of Miami, where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Neuroscience. She then earned her Doctorate in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University’s College of Optometry. Dr. Shafi completed a residency in Primary Care with emphasis in Ocular Disease at the Wilmington Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Wilmington, Delaware. Following her residency, she obtained a fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Shafi provides comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and management of ocular disease. She has received advanced training in the diagnosis, treatment and management of various eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, dry eyes, macular degeneration, and much more.

Dr. Shafi is a Miami-native who is fluent in English, Spanish, Urdu, and Hindi. She is committed towards providing optimal eye care to meet all your visual needs.
