The department of Human Development and Consumer Science is excited to announce a new lab dedicated to undergraduate research. ResearchYOU! seeks to develop undergraduate students through research on topics related to well-being, education, career development, retailing, consumer behavior, and/or social media.

Lab spots are full, but we are hosting Workshops on (Presentation Skills, Introduction to Research, Content Analysis and Survey Development). The first 20 students to sign up for a workshop AND attend will earn a $25 Amazon gift card for each workshop you attend. Participants are asked to turn on their cameras during the presentations.

The fourth and final workshop is Friday, October 21, 2022, at noon on Zoom. Sign up will end on Thursday at noon to ensure all students can access their Qualtrics account.

Only first-time attenders with cameras on are eligible for a gift card.

Online and on-campus Retailing and Human Resource Development students gathered on Wednesday, August 31 for a fun and informative HDCS Student Welcome and Information Session!

While enjoying the fun of door prizes and refreshments, students engaged with vital success topics including advising, career services, student organizations, Student Support Lab and tutoring, Listserv messages, scholarships, internships, and study abroad.
