We are still looking for a home for 9-year-old Beckett in Florida, whose owner died a few months ago. He is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations and should be ok to place in a home with a female dog. He is ok around older children, but not so great with younger ones; he was placed a few weeks ago and returned for “herding” the children while they were playing with their friends.

This is 5-year-old Nolan, a neutered male near Houston, Texas. His owner can no longer care for him due to a change in living arrangements.

This is Barney, a two-year-old neutered male who is currently in the St. Louis area of Missouri. His owner is in declining health and can no longer care for him. Barney needs to be an only dog. He has not had any exposure to children.

Wee Wally came to WIN last autumn as a 12 week old puppy diagnosed with patent ductus and pulmonic stenosis. After undergoing surgery at the University of Georgia, he recovered in a South Carolina foster home and went to a forever home in Texas in February.

On Friday Wally had a cardiologist appointment for an echocardiogram and the results could not have been better. He is no longer restricted and can be as active as he wants to be and will not need balloon valvuloplasty to address the pulmonic stenosis. He needs to return for another echocardiogram on six months but for now all is well! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

We’ve just learned that several packages are still sitting at the UPS drop-off point in Texas, due to a problem with the labels. Gwen is taking them back to re-do the labels and we will try again. Togo-intact/m 6 yrs old-AZ owner in hospital and lost home- WIN will neuter

Frank, our approximately 7-year-old rescued from a Florida shelter went to a new home in North Carolina a few days ago. Unfortunately he is not getting along with the schnauzer that also lives in the home so we are going to have to take him back. We need to get him out of the home as soon as possible.
