It is with a heavy heart, that I announce the passing of our dear friend Jake Garcia, lead male vocalist and founder of Orient Band / RMC Orient and Orient Beat . It will never be the same without you! We will no longer be complete, you took a big part of us with you, Jake. We love you! Rest in eternal peace, my brother… till we meet again.
To all those who wanted to say goodbye to our brother Rene Tato Gonzalez, his funeral mass will be held today at 6 pm at Notre Dame Carholic Church at 7720 Boone Rd. Houston Tx 77072

We are all heartbroken by the loss of one of the best guitar player in Houston and one of the best Orient Band has had a privilege of playing music together with.
We will truly miss you Kuya Rene Tato Gonzalez. We will miss your music, your humor, your kindness and your friendship. We will never forget the Vietnamese song, “Da Kung Yeu thi thoi”. I know I gave you such a hard time to learn how to play that song. But we did an amazing job with it!
May you rest in eternal peace with our Lord. Thank you for sharing your gift with us! We will meet and make music again together. Till we meet again.
