Gabbie + David’s elopement in the Bavarian Alps (Part I)

These two were DREAM clients! They are so kind, love deeply, and truly rolled with the punches. On their elopement day a massive fog storm rolled in and we could barely see a few steps in front of us, let alone the mountain scapes we’d planned for.

But instead of letting it ruin their day, Gabbie and David embraced it. It was evident that their focus was on what matters most — staying present and making memories together. They trusted my direction and leaned fully into the vision I had. Their trust gave me the opportunity to try different things and gave me the confidence to create despite the insane weather.

And honestly can I just say that the fog ended up being such a vibe? It made their day feel cinematic and more intimate, and I’m so honored they trusted me to capture it all!

One of my favorite moments on a wedding day happens in those few minutes right after the ceremony. The couple has just said “I do,” emotions are running high, and it’s a time they’re completely unbothered and lost in the moment. They’re embraced by their family and friends, surrounded by the purest form of love.

It feels like the big exhale after all the anticipation, a release that says: we did it, and nothing else matters but right now.

It’s raw, it’s intoxicating, it’s pure—and it gets me every single time🥲

This garden and bungalow held beginnings, milestones, and everyday moments worth remembering. It was where a beautiful business bloomed, a spunky little girl and her old golden retriever played, and where a family’s story grew roots.

This is what photography is all about to me. Photos aren’t just potential content to go viral for or posts to scroll past. They become precious keepsakes — reminders of seasons we once lived in, feelings we once carried, and places we once called home. Just like memories, the value of a photograph deepens with time.

And it’s funny how we spend so much time hoping and focusing on getting THE shot. But overtime it’s rarely the perfect images we cling to, rather the ones that bring us back to the laughter, the chaos, the love, the life happening in between.

Here’s to photos that become our proof of life well lived🫶🏻

It’s always such an honor capturing moments for fellow creatives, and the grand opening for .interiors was no exception! It was a special evening of live music and good food, and a store full of unique finds and creative minds🤎

A wedding that lives rent free in my mind. The venue, the unexpected weather (let’s just call it a beautiful tragedy🥶), but most importantly THE PEOPLE.

Connection.

Connection between the couple. Connection between their loved ones. Connection between vendors.

When connection runs deep, creativity flows. And that’s where the real magic happens.
