Clear your schedules-April 9th from 2-9PM. We are again joining with the Houston Peace and Justice Center. It was a bit damp last year so let's hope for sunny and mild. There are some bands that have been confirmed; I will post their names shortly.

I accidentally have been posting things that should have gone to Emerson UU's Ministry For Earth page. Anyway, updates soon re this year's festival.

BREAKING: Bill just launched in the U.S. Congress that would keep *half* of all fossil fuels in the U.S. underground -- by cutting off all sales of coal, oil and gas from publicly owned lands. That's 450 gigatons of carbon!

Keeping fossil fuels in the ground wasn’t even acceptable to talk about just a few short years ago; now it’s a bill in Congress with a long list of co-sponsors. YOU did that, climate movement. Thank you.

Everything is being moved indoors folks so the festival will happen! If you want to make a stab at that anti-rain dance though-go ahead.
