Please join us in sending ROCO violinist Tammy Linn Dawe the happiest birthday wishes today!! 🎻🥳 We hope it's been a fantastic day!
When she’s not performing with ROCO, Tammy stays busy through her private violin studio in Austin and teaching at Suzuki institutes across the country.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, getting lost in a good book, tending her garden, practicing yoga, cooking for loved ones, and spending time with her husband and beloved dog. 🐶
Get to know Tammy at her ROCO Artist Page: https://roco.org/artists/tammy-linn-dawe/

We look forward to welcoming a passionate leader who will help us build on more than two decades of artistic innovation and shape our evolution as a catalyst for community impact through music.

At the heart of Dvořák’s “New World Symphony” lies a tender echo, that continues to resonate more than a century later.
The second movement, Largo, features one of the work’s most reflective moments. Rescored for chamber orchestra by Jason Stephens and performed by ROCO in February 2026, Spring Hill shapes the English horn solo’s gentle rise and fall through one of the most recognizable passages in orchestral music.
