A lot can change in 365 days.

Putting this video together brought back so many memories. The excitement, the uncertainty, the slow weeks, the wins, the mistakes, and the moments I questioned if I was really cut out for this.

What started as a dream of becoming a full-time makeup artist turned into so much more. Over the past 11 months, I’ve learned how to run a business, market myself, create content, build service packages, add new services like brows, seek mentorship, invest in my growth, and continue finding ways to better serve my clients.

I’ve learned new techniques. I’ve built my space. I’ve worked with incredible clients. I’ve celebrated wins and faced challenges I never expected. I’ve also learned some hard lessons about business, people, and myself.

This journey has required faith, discipline, consistency, resilience, and a willingness to keep showing up even when the results weren’t immediate.

Watching these clips reminded me that growth doesn’t always look like a fully booked calendar. Sometimes it looks like practicing, learning, pivoting, creating, investing in yourself, and refusing to quit.

Year one isn’t even complete yet, but I’m proud of the woman and business owner I’m becoming. 🤍✨
