I was excited to work with the owner Jim as the sell-side broker and his staff to make this happen. I have known Jim for many years. This deal was unique because he allowed me access to his software like Cantaloupe and 365 Retail markets. So it was easier on the due diligence process and being able to help extract data needed. This is where my experience as an actual Vending/OCS owner and operator assists in with the process of selling your business. Jim was one of the last independent operators in the Austin Texas area and ran a very successful operation.

Having a VMS is so important when it comes time to sell your business. I cannot stress it enough - get a VMS and get prekitted. If you have the size operation, get a prekitting system like Lightspeed and Cantaloupe now offers. Investing in technology will pay for itself when it comes time to sell your business. Cantaloupe Inc, 365 Retail Markets, Parlevel Systems, LightSpeed Automation are all good choices on a vending/OCS management software (VMS).
