Did you know muscle spasms can be common during recovery after cardiac arrest? Reduced oxygen flow, nerve irritation, muscle weakness, and prolonged immobility can all contribute to involuntary muscle contractions. While they can be frustrating, they’re often part of the body’s recovery process.

Physical therapy can help improve mobility, reduce discomfort, and support a safer return to daily activities. 💙

🔥 Active Stretching vs. Passive Stretching 🔥

Think all stretching is the same? Think again 👀

✅ Active stretching = YOU create the movement using your muscles
✅ Passive stretching = An outside force helps you hold the stretch

Both have their place, but choosing the right one can make a big difference in mobility, performance, and recovery 💪

Which one do you do more often: ACTIVE or PASSIVE? Drop your answer in the comments!

Why add trailing resistance?

Because the hardest part of the movement should be where you’re strongest. Adding trailing resistance can improve force production, challenge stability, and make every rep work harder for you.

Small tweak. Big difference. 💥

Nagging pain that just won’t go away? 🤔 It might be tendinopathy.

Tendinopathy happens when a tendon becomes irritated and struggles to keep up with the demands placed on it. Despite what many think, it’s not always “inflammation” often it’s a tendon that’s asking for the right load and recovery.

The good news? Movement is usually part of the solution. Don’t just rest it and rehab it.

⚡️ Dry Needling the Serratus Anterior ⚡️eng.127 is at it again.

The serratus anterior is a key muscle that helps stabilize and move your shoulder blade, playing a major role in healthy shoulder function and overhead movement.

By combining dry needling with electrical stimulation, we can help improve muscle activation, reduce pain, and promote better movement patterns. 💪

If shoulder pain, weakness, or mobility limitations are holding you back, this may be a valuable tool in your recovery journey.

Lower back pain isn’t always just a back problem 👀

A weak core can place extra stress on your spine, making pain linger longer than it should. Building core strength helps improve stability, reduce strain, and support long term recovery.

Strong core. Supported spine. Better movement.
