On Saturday, April 18, The Houston Asian Jaycee Foundation (comprised of past leaders of the Houston International Jaycees), celebrated the service to humanity of 12 inspiring young individuals by giving out $28,500 in scholarships.

We left deeply inspired by 12 powerful voices.
This past weekend, the Houston Asian Jaycee Foundation proudly awarded $28,500 in scholarships to 12 exceptional students. While their achievements were impressive on paper, it was their stories, their courage, resilience, and gratitude that truly touched our hearts.
Each recipient stood before us and spoke with passion and purpose, reminding us that the future is not only bright but in remarkably capable hands. Their words lit a spark, reaffirming the power of education, mentorship, and community support.
Since 2005, the Houston Asian Jaycee Foundation has been committed to empowering the next generation through education, leadership, and service. Moments like these remind us exactly why we do this work.

Our presentation to seniors on AI last Saturday was featured yesterday (Friday) in Southern Chinese Daily News, a local daily newspaper serving Southwest Houston!

The Houston Asian Jaycee Foundation is accepting scholarship applications until March 10th! So far we only have a few applicants, so chances of getting one are good! Applications will be evaluated based upon community contribution. All Texas residents are eligible to apply. Please share with high school seniors or existing post secondary education (trade school, community college, university) students.
