Between a busy slate of main stage concerts, it’s been heartwarming to share music with the children and families who joined us this week at and ! We have one more program for these audiences this weekend: Saturday morning in Woodstock, NY. Here’s hoping we go three for three with Peter and the Wolf fans wearing their wolf masks!

Thank you Texas Commission on the Arts for featuring this project that highlights what American music means to us! Our residency this year with the Houston Youth Symphony Coda Music Program allowed beginning music students in 3rd-5th grade to work on a world premiere by Ivan Trevino, meet the composer, and perform with us in a group of mixed generations and levels. Every year we love seeing how readily these students embrace new music and Texan musicians as part of what they do.

Our July newsletter is out, with upcoming application deadlines, a grant workshop, our audience engagement Speaker Series installment, and news on just some of the activities that TCA supports across the state, including this America 250 grant to Houston Youth Symphony that involved work done by Texas Touring Roster group WindSync!

Roll credits on the 2025-2026 season 🎬

It wouldn’t have been possible without our teammates: Managing Director , our Board of Directors, our Circle of Support, presenting partners (including hometown heroes and ), chamber music series across North America who entrusted your audiences with us, and speaking of…all you listeners who really brought it this season! Thank you ❤️
