See pics below: Our Modern Icon Instagram account has been hacked. The hacker has added underscores and “ws” to the account names. DO NOT open or accept anything from these accounts, especially links are IM requests. They are now sending IG messages to our followers asking them for permission to be added to “new accounts” we are going to set up. This is false information and a phishing scam. They will ask you to send a screen shot of a link that they will text to you, and once you do, you’ve been hacked.

We are hopeful that we can get the word out via FB and that this will help you from getting hacked as well. We can’t post this to our followers on IG so I’m just hoping a lot of you follow us here on FB as well. Most of our followers know we would never post about bitcoin mining or personal financial info but they are now sending DM’s about a new clothing line from us as well. DO NOT take the bait.

Hard lesson learned and IG is impossible to get a hold of. Thank you to many of our followers for sending messages and screenshots of what’s happening.

It's extremely concerning that they have full control over our accounts and we can't do anything about it for the time being. We are hopeful that IG steps in and either gives us back control or just deletes the accounts. We will keep you updated.
