Job Summary:
In this position you will be responsible for all internal facility dispatch and paperwork. The facility dispatcher is the liaison between trucking companies and the logistics department.

Quick Details:
• Pay is $17-18/hr. (DOE)
• Schedule hours may range from Mon-Fri 6:30am to 8pm, this position work's Saturdays at least twice a month from 6:30am to 5pm and occasionally on Sundays 6:30am to 4pm.
• Location is in the 77092 area
• Full-time/Long term opportunity

What you'll be doing:
• Oversee all communication with truck drivers at the facility, which includes managing the check-in and check-out process for the drivers.
• Prepare, review, scan, and upload all dispatch paperwork pertaining to inbound and outbound trucks/containers daily.
• Enter Inbound/Outbound weights in the inventory system.
• Use radio, phone, or computer to communicate with internal coworkers as well as outside vendors/clients.
• Keep logistics personnel abreast of any issues/problems throughout the day.
• Verify the accuracy of all documentation.
• Prepare schedule for daily activity to include dispatch paperwork and confirming inventory locations.
• File office dispatch documents as needed.
• Support other departments as needed.

Qualifications:
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred BUT not mandatory.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must have own reliable transportation.
• STABLE work history.
• 1+yr of experience dealing with BOLs, shipping paperwork and heavy data entry experience.
• Previous experience dispatching over a 2 way radio is a plus.
• Able to multi-task.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to use MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc..).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work.
