Busy 24 hours for our crews.

Last night, units responded to a motorcycle accident near Cedar Lane. Today, following the earlier structure fire response, crews were dispatched to a dumpster fire near Highway 99 and Mueschke.

No matter the call — from medical emergencies to fires — our firefighters and EMS personnel continue to answer when the community needs them most. We’re proud of the dedication and professionalism shown by our crews around the clock.

Last week, Captains Handrick, McLennan, and Shinn attended the Battalion Chiefs Academy in Waco.

Continuing education and leadership development are critical in the fire service, and we are proud of these officers for investing their time and effort into strengthening their skills and knowledge. Opportunities like this help prepare our leaders to better serve our crews and our community every day.

Thank you for your dedication to professional growth and to the future of the department.
