This cracked bowl isn’t going to the trash. It’s staying on my glaze shelf.
I divided this bowl into sections and tested glaze combinations using mostly and glazes, with a little mixed in. Check out the comment section for details!
Some results were exactly what I expected… others turned out even better 😉.

Can you believe that after heat bath in over 2000F these will turn beautiful golden brown and the “freckles” will come out?

Recent obsession (beside animals in cowboy hats) - acorn jars
It started with an idea for a cool dog treat jar and obsession with airbrushing underglaze.
What do you think? Too whimsy? Perfect amount of whimsy? Well, I loved mine so much I made more :)

Im delighted with how the jar ended up looking! I wasn’t sure if the carving will show well after glazing, but blue rutile never disappoints 💙
