Through community support, the organization allows aspiring athletes to train and compete in tournaments and championships at no cost to the athlete or the athlete's family. These athletes proudly represent the city and state, where they reside, with honor and dignity. Championship caliber athletes currently represent the states of Georgia and Texas. The organization was founded in February 2007 -Richmond & Columbia Counties, Georgia; shortly after growing to also encompass Athens-Clarke County.

Police searching for missing Deer Park High School student A Deer Park high school student has been missing since Dec. 19. Pasadena-resident Victoria Jackson, 16, was last seen in the parking lot of Deer Park High School South Campus around 7 a.m. Thursday (Dec. 19).

Urban Souls Dance Company is looking for young dancers (ages 10-13) to be a part of our new youth dance company. This program is scholarship based and free to all selected participants. Students will receive dance training in a variety of styles and perform all over the city.Those selected will meet every Saturday morning from 10am-12pm starting in the spring.
