The Tau Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma at the University of Houston We are national honorary sorority that serves our bands here at the University of Houston!
As the Tau chapter continues to enrich the band through leadership and musicality, these warm hearted sisters continue to preserve the legacy of Tau Beta Sigma and enhance the bond through the ideals and mission of the sorority.

On the day of our Chapter’s founding, the Tau Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma officially welcomed the Delta Delta line as sisters in the bond.
These new sisters have exhibited through and through what it means to be a musician, a leader and a sister throughout their journey.
Thank you for being such a light in our chapter and we are so beyond excited to grow along side you within our organization!

This past weekend the Sisters of Tau had the privilege of inviting 9 new membership candidates to continue their journey with us as future sisters in the bond. We are so excited to welcome you and guide you in your process of crossing in the Spring. The MC’s Formal Bid Acceptance Day marks the beginning of continuing to enrich the culture of what it means to be a leader in service, the importance of music in our lives and sisterhood
This past Friday, we, the Tau Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma sorority, had our first Fall Semester recital in multiple years. Even at the beginning of the semester and the early stages of planning our recital, we knew we were going to sing at the end. We often say in the Tau Chapter two phrases:
One: "It is a privilege to sing."
And Two: "It is an honor to serve."
After every game day, every meeting, and every event where we are together: we sing. Because with our sisters, we are best.
