Heat exhaustion or heat stroke? What's the difference and how do I know which one is affecting me or my loved one? Take a look at our chart to understand the difference between the two. Keep in mind, Heat Stroke is a medical emergency. 911 is necessary!
If your loved one lives alone or isn't around people regularly, be sure to check in regularly. Broken air conditioners, no air circulation, and other variables may affect your loved one. Make sure you know what's going on with them!
Don't forget you're loved ones may not be as mobile as you are! Keep an eye on them and make sure they are not left in the sun or in over-heated areas.
