Fighting s*x trafficking by reducing demand.

We were honored to attend the National Crime Victims’ Rights Week Proclamation Signing and stand alongside advocates, community leaders, service providers, and partners who were committed to supporting victims and survivors.

Events like these served as an important reminder that behind every statistic was a person whose life had been impacted by crime. Recognizing victims' rights was about more than awareness. It was about ensuring that individuals were heard, supported, treated with dignity, and given access to the resources they needed to heal and move forward.

We were grateful for the opportunity to join others in reaffirming our commitment to advocacy, prevention, and creating communities where survivors were empowered and supported. Meaningful change happened when organizations, agencies, and community members came together with a shared purpose and a dedication to protecting the rights and well-being of those impacted by crime.

Thank you to everyone who continued to champion the voices of victims and survivors and worked toward a future where support, justice, and hope were accessible to all. 💙

Some of the most important conversations happen in moments of discomfort.

At Montgomery County Buyer Operations, we have the opportunity to engage with individuals at a pivotal moment, one that can either reinforce old patterns or become the beginning of a new perspective. Through honest dialogue, education, and accountability, we challenge assumptions about exploitation, relationships, intimacy, and personal responsibility.

Lasting change does not happen overnight. It begins with a willingness to examine beliefs, confront difficult truths, and consider a different path forward. By creating space for these conversations, we encourage reflection, growth, and a deeper understanding of what healthy relationships and human dignity truly look like.

We believe accountability is most effective when paired with the opportunity to learn and grow. When people are given the tools to better understand the impact of their choices, they are better equipped to make different ones moving forward. Even in life's most difficult moments, there is an opportunity to choose a different direction.

Grateful for the partners, professionals, and advocates who continue showing up to make these conversations possible. Change often starts with a single conversation, and every conversation has the potential to make a difference. 💙

Still reflecting on our time in Spain. 🇪🇸💙

Looking back on our time training and collaborating with passionate leaders committed to addressing exploitation and creating safer communities. We're grateful for the conversations, partnerships, and shared commitment that reminded us this work extends far beyond borders.

Until next time, Spain. Thanks for the memories, the meaningful discussions, and the people who made the trip so special.

Honored to have the opportunity to speak at the Crosspoint Church Men’s Fellowship Breakfast and continue the conversation through DeMan’d Freedom. There is something powerful about men coming together to engage in honest conversations about topics that are often uncomfortable but deeply important.

Education creates awareness, but it also creates accountability. When men are equipped with knowledge and a better understanding of these issues, it encourages personal reflection, challenges harmful norms, and empowers them to make choices that positively impact their families, workplaces, churches, and communities. Just as importantly, it equips them to continue these conversations with others, helping awareness spread far beyond a single room.

Thankful for every man who was willing to listen, engage, ask questions, and be part of the solution. Real change happens when people are willing to learn, grow, and encourage one another to do the same. 💙

If you want powerful conversations like this to happen at your church, reach out to us and let's talk!

Always grateful for opportunities to be in rooms where hard but important conversations are happening. Thankful to be part of the ACT HT Awareness Conference with Fort Bend County Judge Toni Wallace as we continue spreading awareness and fighting for real change in our communities. 💙

Great day at HCU’s Org Fair 🙌

We loved getting to connect with so many students at Houston Christian University — having real conversations, sharing our mission, and opening eyes to the reality of human trafficking and the role demand plays in it.

Moments like this matter.

Because awareness is where it starts. And when students begin to understand the issue, they begin to see where they fit into the solution.

From first conversations to future involvement, this is how the ripple effect begins — one student at a time.

Grateful for every interaction, every question, and every person willing to learn more and step in. 💙

At Demand Disruption, we believe change often starts with one conversation.

Jennifer’s story is a powerful example of that ripple effect.

Between 2022 and 2023, Jennifer lost both of her parents — and her lower leg. In the middle of that kind of loss, she wasn’t thinking about changing the world. She was trying to figure out whether she could keep moving forward at all.

When she transferred to Houston Christian University, she questioned her direction, her major, and whether she was capable of stepping into something meaningful again.

Then in January 2025, she met Dr. Kevin Wilkinson.

He asked her one simple question:
“What do you think about human trafficking?”

Her honest answer:
“I think it’s bad.”

She didn’t yet understand how close the issue was to home — but she said yes to learning more.

Within a month of being introduced to Demand Disruption, Jennifer was already presenting ideas to leadership and helping expand education and outreach. Since then, she has helped build connections between college students and organizations across Houston, contributed to initiatives like Anti-Trafficking Huskies, supported research efforts alongside the Texas Department of Public Safety, and helped bring this work into academic spaces where future leaders are learning how they can step in.

Jennifer’s impact didn’t start with expertise.

It started with resilience.
With curiosity.
With the decision to keep moving forward when life gave her every reason not to.

This is the ripple effect.

One conversation becomes awareness.
Awareness becomes action.
Action becomes momentum that reaches far beyond where it started.

At Demand Disruption, we see stories like Jennifer’s every day — people stepping in and creating change in ways they never expected.

Because disruption begins with showing up. 💙

We’re still carrying the conversations from Saturday with us.

The Ripple Effect wasn’t just an event — it was a room full of people willing to pause, reflect, and lean into what it means to be difference makers in our community. The honesty, the attentiveness, and the willingness to engage with such a complex issue reminded us why this work matters so much.

To everyone who showed up and shared that space with us — we are truly honored. Being surrounded by people committed to protecting others and strengthening our communities is something we don’t take lightly.

And if you weren’t able to join us Saturday, you can still be part of the ripple. Difference makers don’t just show up to events — they help carry the work forward.

You can support prevention and be part of the impact here:

Tomorrow is The Ripple Event.

Real change rarely starts with something big. It starts with people who decide to show up, learn something new, and become part of a ripple that reaches farther than they expected.

If you have ever wondered how human trafficking is connected to our own communities or what role you can actually play in preventing it, this night is for you.

There is still time to grab a seat, bring someone with you, and be part of something that truly matters. The conversations that happen in this room don’t stay in this room. They create impact far beyond it.

We would genuinely love for you to be there 💛
