Learn how to doodle dinosaurs at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library (930 Corbindale Rd. Houston, TX 77024) on Tuesday, October 20th at 4:30 PM to learn to doodle dinosaurs! This program is for tweens ages 8-12. Siblings welcome!
In this class, Dalton will share his personal process for drawing Pokémon in your own style — encouraging creativity, and having fun with shape language to discover their own unique way of drawing them.

Dalton is a Texas-based artist who loves drawing dinosaurs, monsters, and Pokémon! His creature-focused artwork is inspired by a lifelong passion for paleontology, an appreciation for biodiversity, and a deep devotion to drawing.

He has created artwork for the prehistoric-themed coffee shop Cambrian Coffee as well as the Houston Museum of Natural Science, alongside his independent art practice where he brings ancient creatures to life in fun and imaginative ways.

CALLING ALL HOMESCHOOLERS!!!!! Join Future U at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library (930 Corbindale Rd. Houston, TX 77024) on Thursday, October 22nd at 2:00 PM as we discuss all topics related to skilled trades. We will discuss how to research the Top 10 targeted skilled trades in Harris County using local labor market info, as well as how to find what employer-recognized credentials, and related job experience are needed to secure a job within that field. We will also discuss how to research these higher education providers, apply for related scholarships and grants, and how to find apprenticeships/Internships/On-the-job training opportunities in the field.
This workshop is open to ALL, but we will be focusing on the homeschooled population.

Homeschoolers! Use your creativity & engineering skills to make an edible fall-themed gingerbread house at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library (930 Corbindale Rd. Houston, TX 77024) on Monday, October 5th at 2:00 PM! We'll have some cute fall decorations and some spooky ones. We'll use graham crackers, candy, and frosting.
