Bye Silos 306, hello to “The Nest” named in honor of my mom, Linda N. (Nester) Reeder! My mom was a talented craft artist and always making things. She made being an artist seem like a normal, rational thing to do and I thank her for that and for helping me build my new nest!

Hard to believe it’s been five years since my open heart surgery! Every day is a gift, remember that ❤️

Work has begun on my new studio! I’ve spent the past month getting rid of 28 years of junk plus random stuff from people who lived here before us. I’m amazed at the random crap people will take if you put it on the curb or free on Facebook Marketplace. Cannot wait to have a 30 second commute to work 😀.

My dearest niece and art assistant and fantastic artist reminded me of the anniversary of Treeodesic Dome. I still am really proud of my first public art sculpture and cannot believe it’s been five years!! Don’t be afraid to try things that scare you 🩷
