I’ve been quiet on here but steadily working in the studio.

The past few weeks, I’ve been cutting, building, finishing. More colors, more pieces to brighten our everyday.

Didn’t want to show up until I had something to show.

This is not a comeback.
It is a new chapter.

The past months have been filled with reflection, realignment, and quiet rebuilding. Not because the vision was gone — but because some growth only happens in stillness.

And through all of it, one thing remained clear.

Marté Egele was never just about bags.

It is about craftsmanship. Identity. Legacy. Pieces that feel personal because they are personal.

I am stepping back in with deeper clarity, stronger intention, and genuine gratitude for everyone still here.

This is my first Mother’s Day without my mother.

And yet I feel her everywhere, in the way I hold my standards, in the discipline I didn’t ask for but needed, in every piece I make with intention.

She sat at that sewing machine like it was the most natural thing in the world
It was.

She helped me create my first set of clothes and fabric clutches when I chose to pursue it as one of my loves
She bought every sewing machine I’ve ever used
She came to my first international pop-up. She sat among the bags.
She saw the work.
Some women don’t just raise you.
They become part of what you build.
Today I honor her.

And I honor every woman whose love shows up in what their children create.
