This month, we are mapping the heart and mind with our AITs🤍
In September, our Adults in Training participants will come together and explore how trauma shapes the brain, why we can become stuck in painful cycles, and how healing can help us build healthier relationships, secure attachments, and learn to love safely again.

This car was generously donated to A Lighted Path and has become a huge blessing for Cameron, one of our Adults in Training.

It helps him get to and from work, run everyday errands, and navigate life with greater independence.

Even better, he’s able to use it to help two other AITs with transportation, too.
One donation is making a difference for three young people as they work, grow, and build lives of their own. ❤️

What does it mean to be an Adult in Training?

For young adults living at DePelchin, it means knowing they don’t have to navigate adulthood alone.

Through A Lighted Path’s Adults in Training program, participants are surrounded by mentors, community, accountability, and opportunities to learn from professionals across a variety of fields. Together, they explore life beyond high school, build practical life skills, set goals, and begin preparing for the independence ahead.

Preparing for adulthood is about more than having a plan, but also about having people who believe in you, walk alongside you, and help you see what’s possible.🤍

Celebrating the Nabor House graduates as they take the next big step into kindergarten! We’re so blessed to work with Nabor House Community, walking alongside them, their students, and their families and watching them grow. We’re incredibly proud of them and excited for all that this new adventure holds!
