Customer came in for a Texas State Inspection. Unknowingly, she did not knew that the check engine light was not working. When I attempted to perform the State Inspection I found out that the person who sold her the went to the work of tampering with the check engine light indicator on the instrument cluster instead of fixing the problem the right way. So I fixed the codes and needs the car needed and also fixed her check engine light indicator on the cluster. . Now the vehicle gets great gas mileage (30mpg) and runs great and she will now if anything it's needed whenever the check engine light is on. Making it legal for registration and safe for everyone.
