THIS IS BIGGER THAN ME. 💪🏾✨🩶🎓
For the last eight months, I’ve had the privilege of learning, living, and laughing alongside 56 incredible leaders from across North Carolina. Since 1995, only 1,593 individuals have had the honor of being part of Leadership North Carolina.
I’ve participated in many fellowships over the years, but Leadership North Carolina is truly one of one. It’s the only experience I’ve encountered where understanding the past, engaging the present, and shaping the future of North Carolina are all central to the journey. The access, relationships, and perspective gained through this program are unmatched.
I don’t think any of us fully knew what we were stepping into. We simply came ready to learn, grow, collaborate, and lead across areas like government, education, inclusive leadership, health and human services, economic development, and the environment.
Now, we move forward as alumni — not just with knowledge, but with responsibility.
We are the future of North Carolina. And the time to make a difference is now, not next.

Elevate. Pour. Repeat.
I’ll be joining an incredible group of leaders for the Wake Leadership Fellows “Managers Roundtable” — and honestly, this is one of those rooms where real growth happens.
Public service isn’t just about theory… it’s about people, perspective, and learning directly from those doing the work every day.
Grateful to be alongside fellow managers from across Wake County as we share experiences, lessons learned, and hopefully pour into the next generation of leaders.

Life is full. Choose side missions wisely.
How do you spend your extra capacity? Mine are guided by 5 values: growth in more than one way, core memories, becoming who I need to be, staying close to the people who matter, and expanding my mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual capacity.
Everything adds or subtracts. Be intentional, not critical.
A “good time” is never far away from a happy soul.
