American 5299. In the shop for some repairs and a complete paint job.

These are some gear segments our custom manufacturing department recently finished for the Historic Battleship Texas! These gears are part of the travel and elevation system on some of the anti aircraft guns on the ship!

Not a complete overhaul for this 5299, but it may look like one. This one had a lot of parts replaced in the upper deck and lower carbody, including undecking.

Ready for the next job.

Tomorrow, this one will be on the road and headed to her new home. American 9320.
